INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOTS.

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has signed legislation (S.8130-D/A.10516-A) extending the deadline to
submit absentee ballots until the day of the election. To be counted, primary ballots must be postmarked by June 23rd.

ABSENTEE VOTING for COVID-19

Pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order, those wishing to vote  by absentee ballot in the June 23rd Primary because of COVID-19 concerns may select “temporary illness” on the absentee form (click here for absentee form with instructions)

 

Election Day (June 23, 2020) voting will still take place.

 

Polls are open from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM.

 Early Voting Hours

The Tompkins County Board of Elections Office has electronic “Ballot Marking Devices” (BMD) available for voters requesting audio or visual assistance in casting a ballot. Please call the Tompkins County Board of Elections at (607) 274-5522 for more information.

ALL VILLAGE ELECTIONS ARE POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15.
