July 26, 2020 marks the 30th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This landmark civil rights legislation greatly impacted the lives of millions of people with disabilities in work, school and in the community. Hear from FLIC Advocacy Specialsts on what it was like going to school as children with disabilities and what it is like now for them as adults in the workforce. Much has changed since the signing of the ADA, but more needs to be done to address the architectural and social barriers that still exist. Q & A to follow.
