Durable Medical Equipment available for short-term loan.
If you are recovering from surgery or an accident, or would like to try something before you buy it, the Loan Closet is perfect for that. We loan durable medical equipment for up to 3 months. Some of the items require a deposit that can be paid by cash or check, the deposit is returned to you when you return the equipment. If you decide that the equipment you borrow is what you need long term we can provide information on where you can purchase the equipment.

Shower Chairs
Transfer tub benches, shower chairs and shower stools available. Refundable deposit required.
Commodes
Standard, bariatric and drop-arm commodes available. Refundable deposit required. Height adjustable.
Hip Kits
Leg lifters, long-handled shoehorns, reachers, dressing sticks and button hooks available with no deposit required.
Safety Rails
Several styles of tub, bed and toilet rails available with no deposit required.
